TESS as was first certified according to the ISO-9001 standard in 1994. The core products are hoses and line components, welding and protection/personal protective equipment, with associated services. ISO-27001 is under implementation.
TESS as has, among other things, DNV-approved welders (NS-EN 287), NDT personnel within penetrant testing (NS-EN 473), welding procedure approvals (NS-EN ISO 15614-1), as well as type-approved steel hoses. In 2009, the company's welding activities (NS-EN ISO 3834-2) were also certified.
The environmental management system (ISO-14001) was first certified in 2009. The system also covers the requirements of the Internal Control Regulations with associated regulations.

Qualification schemes
TESS is also a prequalified supplier through Achilles, holding certifications in the Achilles Network, Global Energy, TransQ (transport sector), StartBANK (construction and civil engineering industry), and UNCE (energy supply sector). TESS is also approved through Magnet JQS, a supplier registration and qualification system for vendors serving the energy sector.
