1968 Teknisk Service AS is founded on July 10, 1968. Opening on September 2, 1968.
1972 TESS entered the oil industry.
1976 Welding and tools were added to the product range.
1984 By 1984, TESS offered over 20,000 articles. The introduction of quality assurance and a broader customer focus shaped the future.
1992 TESS became the largest supplier of hoses in Norway. A major agreement with Statoil laid the foundation.
1995 Workwear and safety gear became an important part of the product range. TESS opened its first partner shop at ABB in Drammen.
2007 THM hose control was established.
2005 TESS expands operations into Sweden and Scotland.
2009 Launches subsea production operations.
2011 Acquires fifty percent of Bic in Brazil, named BICTESS. Receives a major order for THM from Maersk Drilling and acquires fifty percent of the shares in T&M Hydraulics in Houston.
2018 TESS is established in Gran Canaria. Celebrates its 50th anniversary with the Industry Trade Fair and a jubilee party at the Telenor Arena. Erik Jølberg transfers ownership to the Erik Jølberg Foundation.
2019 TESS opens the first TESSgate at Equinor, a new 24/7 RFID supply solution.
2022 TESS becomes a member of Ethical Trade Norway. The first TESSgate offshore. Successful testing of unmanned bunkering, TESS Remote Loading.
2023 TESS acquired 100% of the shares in Jans Hydraulikk AS, 80% in Sveisesenteret Drammen AS, and 70% in Industri-Hydraulikk AS. The company celebrated its 55th anniversary.
2024 Aker BP selected TESS Remote Chemical Loading technology as the primary solution for loading chemicals onto the Hugin A platform in the Yggdrasil field. TESS marked its 50th anniversary at ONS in Stavanger. TESS International expanded its operations to Indonesia and Malaysia.
