1968: Teknisk Service AS opened the 2nd of September 1968.
1972: Five employees. Opens service center in Stavanger.
1977: 50 employees. 8 service centers, including Bergen.
1983: 105 employees. 22 service centers, several along the coast.
1985: Revenues exceed 100 million NOK.
1991: Revenues exceed 225 million NOK.
1995: First Partnershop (ABB Kraft, in Drammen)
1998: TESS has a total of 490 employees and revenue exceeds 800 million NOK.
1999: Arranges Norway’s first ever MRO fair.
2001: Establishes a network of TESS Approved Hose Workshops.
2005: First service center abroad.
2006: Launches TESS Hose Management.
2008: Opens Norwegian service center number 100. Revenues exceed 2 billion NOK.
2010: First big order in the subsea industry and over 800 employees.
2011: TESS establishes service centers in Denmark, Scotland and Brazil.
2012: Establishes a service center in USA (Houston), and opens 8 Norwegian service centers.
2013: Establishes 4 service center and 2 Partnershop.
2014: Servicecentre established in Oslo city centre.TESS Rio de Janeiro established as the second servicecentre in Brazil. New turnover record: NOK 2.8 billion.
2015: Partnershops opened with Equinor Mongstad and RadøyGruppen. 950 employees.New servicecentres in Singapore, Houston, Fredrikshavn and Narvik.
2016: Erik Jølberg becomes the owner of TESS and the companies are organised as a corporate group.
The cooperation with Statoil is expanded with a Baseshop at Mongtad and a
Partnershop at Melkøya. TESS acquisitions ProffPartner Brandth
in Mosjøen and TOOL Industrial Store in Harstad.
TESS Austevoll is established.
