Over the last 50 years the TESS group has become one of the leading groups for Norwegian businesses within the area of industry, construction, onshore, offshore and subsea, and they’ve followed Norwegian companies into the world with new establishments.
To strengthen their efforts in digital solutions and welding-related products TESS has bought 70% of the sticks in Eiva Safex AS, with effect from the 1st of May 2018.
Eiva Safex will not change their name or structure, and their CEO and administrations team will not change, the current shareholders VESS AS will keep their 20% and Praxair Norge AS will keep their 10% of the stocks. This brings the TESS group up to more than 1000 employees and a turnover close to 3 billion NOK including establishments in Aberdeen, Esbjerg, Houston, Brazil, Spania and Singapore.
TESS is already the largest supplier of welding related products and services in Norway, and they already own JD Sveiseservice AS in Telemark. TESS has developed logistics slutions that have been digitalized within the area of product automats and containers, and Eiva Safex has digital solutions for professional control of equipment for lifting and loading, as well as internal controls.
This gives the customers expertise and better solutions for HSE as well. The cooperation will be presented at Industriens Motemesse (the Industrial Fashion Exibition) in Oslo the 27th – 29th of September 2018, at the celebration of TESS’ 50th anniversary.
